About the Space

1890’s Sierra Madre Victorian Estate...We have beautiful European style gardens and the center point of them is our large glass conservatory. We hold workshops/events here throughout the year. We also have a beautiful she shed structure that has been featured in many publications. Another beautiful feature is our French potager/ vegetable garden. There are many areas around the property that lend themselves to interesting and beautiful shots.

Parking description

We can accommodate about 7 cars on our property but can not have any large equipment vans or trucks unless city filming permit is issued. No street parking unless filming permit is issued.

If no permit then there is only parking on site for 7 cars. If you get a filming permit then the following applies: Street parking, loading trucks can come partially up the driveway. Entrance doesn’t require a ramp. Street parking in the neighborhood available.

There are outdoor areas for hair and make up and a 120 sq ft dressing room with restroom.

Some rooms are off-limits for shooting

The main house is off limits to shoot. Unless agreed upon before the shoot.

Shooting the exterior of the building is allowed

Electrical system description

This is a residence with circuit breaker in the back of the house. Several outlets are located around the property.

Circuit breaker can not be accessed

General Rules

For photoshoots you can start as early as 7:00am and go until 8:00pm. All cars will need to be parked on our property and not on our street. Any loading and unloading needs to be done on our property and not the street. If you have a large crew then I suggest getting a filming permit from our city at least 1.5 weeks before the shoot.

All ages are allowed in the space

Some outside furniture can be moved around.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures

We disinfect our restroom continually and provide hand sanitizer

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
