If you have something else in mind that you want to pursue, we are happy to work with you. Please let us know and we can see how we can make it work. All Vendors must have insurance and be approved by ownership.
7) ALCOHOL: We love when folks celebrate and alcohol is great part of that. If you are interested in having alcohol at your event (beer and wine), there is nothing specific needed. BYOB is fine with us. If you are however interested in cocktails / liquor and having service for such, a TABC licensed bartender is required. We have a list of great folks that we work with, however if you have someone in mind, please let us know and we can confirm that all of their information is up to date and in compliance we ownership rules and regulations.
8) BARN KITCHEN: You'll see the barn right when you pull up. We have pots, pans, plates, utensils, etc ready for you if you have a party 20 people or under. For larger groups, other options would need to be discussed.
9) RESTROOMS: Our current rest room facilities are good for up to 50 people, however if your event is bigger, ownership requires the use of outside facilities. Additionally, if applicable, we are able to provide towels for you as well as eco friendly toiletries (shampoo, body wash, conditioner and lotion) if staying with us. We also provide a hairdryers if needed. Our water is grey water and goes out to the woods after use, so please don't put harsh chemicals down our pipes. Only provided septic safe toilet paper can be flushed in the toilet. Thank you!
10) PETS: While we love animals dearly (4 dogs / 3 cats / 2 lizards / 2 alpaca / 2 donkey and 2 chickens between the 2 owners), we ask that you leave your PETS at home. This is for the safety of the guests as well as for the pets safety. We are out in the wilderness and do not want to be responsible for any sweet pet that could get injured on our property.
11) PROPERTY ANIMALS: Our Alpaca's (Laverne & Shirley), Donkey's (Donkey and Yoti) and Cat's (Hissy and Kissy) are often the star's here and would love to meet you. Feel free to give them a pet, feed them some hay, or toss them a carrot or two as your way of showing them some love. For the alpacas and donkey's, please make sure if you are feeding them, that you are doing so with an open-palm as they could nip on your hands by accident. They are animals after all :) Also, alpacas can spit if they are jealous of donkeys, so beware (although they never). All guests must wear close-toe shoes if entering the field. It is very possible that a toe or foot could be accidentally stepped on by a hoof. Closed toes shoes prevent injury for sure. We’ve had no problems prior with this, but its a strong suggestion for safety of all. Also we encourage guests to avoid back side of animals. They will not bite, but they can kick if scared or startled. We’ve never had any issues with these 4, but I’ve seen other donkeys and alpacas kick so its good to be careful. Please also note that the fence around the animals is electric and can give you a little jolt, so please be careful.
Unplug, relax, soak in the beauty, and enjoy your time with us.
We look forward to hosting you soon!
