Nestled in the heart of suburban New Jersey, appx 20 miles outside bustling metropolis of New York City, lies an idyllic retreat that will transport you to a world of serenity and vintage charm. Welcome to a private 3-bedroom private carriage house, set on a historic estate that has been recently recognized as the "Best" in New Jersey" by Conde Nast Traveller -January 2023. A one of a kind American gem with gardens. The Carriage House sits back on Private Nathaniel S Crane Estate c. 1752. Access the property entering a private gravel driveway passing the main house built circa 1752 before arriving at the main entrance of the Guest House on a private circular driveway. Ample parking. The Nathaniel S. Crane Guest House offers old world charm with modern amenities in an atmosphere guaranteed to impress. The Guest House offers a cozy one of a kind layout with a full eat in kitchen, living room and sun/dining/office area with hardwood floors and lots of natural sunlight and a Smart TV/Monitor to present to your clients. Known as an oasis in the metropolis, across the street access to public library, shops, restaurants, fast food,Starbucks and public transportation. Great for offsite meetings and to bring your clients to "close" the deal. The owners are stewards of historic preservation and welcome you to enjoy this one of a kind gem. The Ground Floor /outside grounds available. The yard behind the carriage house is also accessible for you and your team.

- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
- A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

We had an excellent experience filming at Cranes Cottage. Loretta was available via message and text leading up to our shoot, which helped us sort out various details to make sure our actual shoot day ran smoothly. The cottage was charming and we were able to fit 5 different set-ups into a brisk 7 hour day! Loretta was also flexible when a scheduling issue came up, and helped us find a solution when we had more people on set than we anticipated (thanks, client!). The house was drafty, but that's to be expected for such an old building. We were grateful for the space heaters we could use to keep our talent warm.
