About the Space
FROM NOW THRU END SEPTEMBER, THE STUDIO MAY NOT BE AVAILABLE. PLEASE CHECK WITH US BEFORE BOOKING. WE MAY BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE DEPENDING ON THE SCOPE OF YOUR SHOOT OR ACTIVITY. PLEASE ENQUIRE PRIOR TO BOOKING. WE ARE, CURRENTLY, SELLING OFF PHOTO AND VIDEO EQUIPMENT AT VERY AFFORDABLE PRICES. LIGHTING, PROPS, BACKDROPS, PELICAN CASES, ETC. Rough warehouse type space available for single or multiple day photo and video shoots. Close to downtown Dallas - between Fair Park/Cottonbowl and I-30E. Please be aware: Photos do not, necessarily, represent the studio at any given time. Typical state is the cover photo but, at the moment, french doors and the 2 side walls are not there. We highly recommend seeing the space prior to shoot date. 4 HOUR MINIMUM SHOOTING AREA DOES NOT HAVE AC Skylights - can be blacked out - $20 extra fee 16' x 30' white wall (Paintable) - Renter responsible for painting for your project plus a $150 repainting fee 20' ceiling at center 2 large rollup doors - one can accommodate vehicles in and out Heating via Reznor-style warehouse heater Restroom and changing room Exterior shooting areas Lots of equipment available. Some included free of charge. Some for rent. Stands, Lighting, Light Modifiers, Silks, Silk Frames, Backgrounds Camera support: Tripods, Fluid heads, Matthews Doorway Dolly, Jibs 8'x10' Set Walls, Tons of Seamless Paper Continuous lighting includes strobe, tungsten and fluorescent Flash/Strobe lighting, umbrellas, soft boxes, etc. Miscellaneous Items for Props individually priced for rent Some Tools and Equipment available for set building, etc. Use of stands and some lighting available free of charge. All other equipment available at very reasonable rates. Note: If you do intend to rent our equipment, please allow 12 hour notice for specific items. No stereo or music equipment provided. Please bring your own. No Refrigerator. NO ADMITTANCE TO STUDIO PRIOR TO SCHEDULED START TIME Manager reserves right to enter studio space or be present in studio space at any time. - The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

I had an excellent experience on this stage. A scene for an independent movie called for a long conversation in a moving car at night. I drove a car on stage, projected my road footage on the cyc wall, set lights and rolled sound. The cast and small crew completed 9 pages of dialogue in one day. The footage is not just convincing, it's artful. I'm grateful for the resources of this stage and the experience of the owner Richard K. I'm happy with my results and pleased to recommend this stage to other filmmakers.

Richard was a really gracious and kind host. The space is very cool and you can build your own set. He has all kinds of different props in there that you can use. Just be aware that you will need to time to build it out. Don't expect to come in and just start shooting right away!
