This retro vivid multi-set studio loft, home to our Life Sized Doll House and Ball-pit as well as multiple themed sets, an abundance of props and floor to ceiling loft windows with beautiful natural light. All inclusive with your booking! Located in Downtown Los Angeles, available for film and photography shoots for groups of less than 15 and with only a 3hr minimum! All guests MUST sign a waiver upon arrival. • The Doll House Boxes: A life size, 2 story doll house made up of 4 rooms! A blue scooter Garage, Pink Bathroom, Purple neon Living Room and Green & Gold Study! We have designed this set so you can shoot in a variety of ways, from varying heights and angles! • The Ball-Pit: This queen size pink and black ball pit is adorable and way too fun! With the plexiglass framed walls you can shoot from a side view or use our equipment to shoot overhead and more! • White Seamless: Make your dream backdrop come to life with a blank canvas. • Plant Window: Who doesn't love a loft with natural light beaming through hanging plants! Well we have that! • Car Bumper: Yes, it's a real car...well the front half of it! • Dressing Room: The Boxie dressing room is equipped with glamour station, makeup chair, clothing rack and mirrors. Hella cute for selfies. We require ALL guests in your group to sign a waiver upon arrival. AMENITIES: • Bathrooms (these are shared but not open for public) • Private dressing room with mirrors/makeup lights/makeup chair/clothing rack • Air-conditioned/plenty of fans and great ventilation with the loft windows! • Elevator/Freight elevator. We are located on the 4th floor. FAQ's: • Does my booking give me access to all the sets? YES, everything we have listed and shown in our reference photos is included in your booking. It's all there! • Is there natural light? YES! we have 2 massive walls of floor to ceiling windows that bring in stunning natural light! There's 4 main window panels 15x15 • What's the best time of day for the sunlight? Our windows are East facing, the light is great all day until after sunset BUT for that classic sunlight shining through the windows vibe you'll want a morning shoot! • Is there a video of the studio? YES! We have plenty of video, video tours and photos on our INSTAGRAM @theboxiestudio so you can see more details there! • I only need an hour but you have a 3hr minimum, can I book for an hour? Unfortunately no, we have a 3hr minimum for all bookings. • Is your studio wheelchair friendly? Yes! We are located on the 4th floor, there is a small elevator and also a freight elevator that is wheelchair accessible. Please let us know if you need any assistance prior to the booking so we can best accommodate! • Is the studio sound proof? It's not! We unfortunately can't escape the beautiful sounds of downtown LA traffic, sirens and random fireworks. If you need to record audio we definitely recommend lapel mics and good sound equipment. • Can you blackout the windows? Yes, however we encourage you to book a night shoot for optimal darkness. • Is nudity allowed? We're okay with implied/semi/nude shoots, however absolutely NO adult film.
