Enhanced COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

We use Lysol Spray to disinfect all of the door handles, sink handles, toilet handle, and chairs. We use spray bleach cleaner to spray down all of the tables and flat surfaces after each event. We use bleach cleaner to thoroughly clean the entire bathroom. The floor is swept and mopped with pine sol after each event.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

About the Space

- 8 eight foot banquet tables - 80 black padded metal folding chairs - disco ball -hardwood floors - floor plan is flexible and most of the furniture is movable with the exception of one bar. -2 Sofas are currently in the space for the lounge area. -Disco Ball is permanently installed in the center and neon lights are available. -2 speakers are available. One has a mic and one has a cord to hook up with iPhone for music. -Wifi is available. -1 Small TV is available. -1 Bathroom with sink. -4 Side Wooden Tables are in the space alongside the walls - a great option for catering. -Wall Decor is not movable. The window Display is not movable. Special permission must be asked before moving decor. **We will have all painting supplies cleared from the space before the event.

Easy and free street parking right out in front of the building front door access. Large parking lot just across the street as well.

Lighting description

the windows are on the North side of the street so that we do not have harsh light during the day. We do have a window display with original art in the front window and so there would need to be some very specific permission and discussion about blocking this light. We would be willing to allow this for a long term movie project.

Space is not soundproof

Ambient noise description

you can hear a little noise from outdoors in the downtown. Guthrie, OK is pretty quiet though. There is not much street traffic either. It is a very quiet space. The AC does have some noise when it runs.

Equipment loading description

We have had trucks load from the front on many occasions with my big canvas orders on palettes. They turn on their hazard lights and then just block the front street. Guthrie is a small town and this still works without any issues.

Electrical system description

We have the electrical breaker in the back with us in our living space. We are here most of the time and happy to help out. We do have electrical outlets running the length of the building on either side. I am not sure how much electrical current we can handle though. The microwave and a hairdryer can blow the breaker here in this old building when they are used at the same time. On a normal basis, we can easily handle 2 speaker and a mic with all of the lights on during a Tipsy Artist Class. Hopefully that will give you some indication of what will work for your set up. If you know you need a lot of power as a movie crew then we absolutely will need for you to have your own generators. We have to work here and live here and we have long-term tenants and Airbnb upstairs. We have a zero tolerance policy with movie crews causing electrical outages in our building. We just simply cannot have that happen!

General Rules

-No Smoking. We are a Breathe Easy building. -No Candles or flame. Please only use fake candles. -Catering is allowed. You are allowed to bring in your own food or drinks. -Please no pets except for service animals. -No loud music after midnight. We have Airbnb guests just above the event space. -We do NOT serve alcohol or food. Again, food and drinks are your responsibility and if you have alcohol, you must have a guest list only private event. -You must have a sign on the glass door that states your Name of event with "private event" specified. Please understand that you will need to make sure that people from the street do NOT enter the building. You will need to keep front door secure and closed. This is a street level public access retail space and the public can get confused and try to enter because they misunderstand what is happening in the space. We can also provide a generic "Closed for Private Event Space" sign for you and we always have this sign up on a regular basis since we are never open to the public. We are a Private Event - Guest List Only Venue. Thank you for your cooperation. This is crucial to abide by alcohol rules in the state of Oklahoma.

Production insurance is required

*We will need a current certificate of liability insurance listing Joe and Tiffany Bohrer, 117 W. Harrison Ave., Guthrie, OK 73044 as a Certificate Holder & Additional Insured. **We have State Farm currently and I know they provide "additional insured" for free for us when we request this.

Furniture and decorations may be moved

most of the floor furniture can be moved. Most wall decorations cannot be moved. We would definitely need to have a conversation and specific permissions about what decor is moved. **Also in regard to nudity, we don't really care but I am sure the public streets of Guthrie would have a legal problem with it ~ so there would need to be a cover placed to block view from front window. Please ask us if you have questions.
