About the Space
The Actors Theatre Workshop is an award winning non-profit theatre located in the heart of Chelsea’s Garden district. With 30 years of service as an organization, ATW proudly continues to be a resource for creatives and the community. You will feel the warmth, comfort and sense of community that our facility provides as soon as you step off the elevator! We know that you and your guests will feel more than welcome in our wonderful creative home. Added incentive: your rental dollars go directly to the Builders of The New World, ATW’s award-winning after school program for homeless children and youth-at-risk.

General Rules
- No smoking in the building.
- The sale of alcohol is not permitted on the premises.
- All renters must leave the space as they found it and make sure that all surfaces are wiped down.
- Overtime will be charged if you go outside of your rental time.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
The following are practices put in place to help combat the spread of COVID-19:
- 50% capacity in studios
- No waiting in the lobby or common areas – renters will not permitted to enter facility until start of booking time.
- Masks/facial coverings MUST be worn at all times in lobby or common areas
- Occupants MUST maintain 6-foot distance at all times
- Please alert staff if anyone has symptoms during a booking
- There are to be no more than 3 occupants on Elevator at a time
- Renter MUST provide Rental Manager with list of guests for each booking
- Renters are responsible for wiping down any used items or supplies; cleaning supplies will be provided – please see on-site staff
- All guests MUST sign a COVID Waiver upon arrival
Enhanced cleaning measures:
- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
The following equipment is provided for every guest:
- Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
- Disposable gloves
- Disposable masks / face coverings
- Hand Sanitizer
The space has the following features:
