Welcome to this bright space on a lovely, quiet street smack dab in the center of Greenpoint. As a creative solopreneur who has experienced what it’s like to create within the constraints of New York living, I’m no stranger to the strain it puts on the process. I am a photographer & culinary coach and have created this beautiful home office and mini photo / content studio. This spacious multi-use room is currently set up for: ○ Office / Desk / Co-working Space ○ Content Creation ○ Client Meetings ○ Private Rehearsal Space for Performers ○ Individual or Small Group Photo Shoots The space is 120 sq. feet with 9' ceilings. It has 6' South East facing windows that look out ontoa tree lined street. The space pulls inspiration from nature so the room features calming neutral colors, and unique details from my travels, like shells & driftwood. The room is minimally decorated to accommodate multiple uses but is ready with: - Desk with laptop stand & basic office supplies (pens, post-it’s, tape, note pads & a hot cup of coffee, if you want one!) - Google Nest Smart Speaker - Spectrum WiFi - Rolling Ikea Kallax, suitable for staging food and small product photography. Can be rolled to the window for shooting natural light. - Various shooting surfaces including: white marble slab, dark and light wood, faux black stone, and small + large fabric samples. - Neewer Suspension Stand with phone clamp attachment for shooting content. - Vanguard Alta Pro Tripod - Small Slik Tripod - TetherPro Tethering Cord - Fotodiox 40”x60” Reflector & other misc. bounce cards - Lowel Ego table top light Items available to rent for an additional fee: - Canon 5D Mark III Camera with ___ GB memory card, 1 battery pack and charger - Canon 50mm 1.4F Lens - Canon 100mm Macro Lens - Sigma 35mm Lens - Alta Pro Tripod with Ball Head - Serveware & props available by request for food shoots - Props available by request for portrait shoots - Extra chairs available by request The apartment is smack dab in one of the most relaxing, beautiful parts of Greenpoint, just two blocks from McGolrick Park, with towering trees just turning color. Great for working outside, going for a run, hitting the Sunday farmer's market, or just relaxing. As you can see, the room does have french doors, so for privacy I simply open the 2 interior closet doors which fully obstructs the view. The shared spaces include a nicely renovated, well equipped kitchen, living room with large West Elm couch and Smart TV with Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime, and modern bathroom with marble accents, Ikea sink and shower/bathtub. Our typical day looks like exchanging hellos in the morning, then both going our separate ways to work in our respective rooms. We are both pretty quiet throughout the day, and don't typically have frequent guests to the apartment, primarily for Covid safety. If we do, we will have up to 1 guest at a time, and let the other person know in advance. In the evenings, we balance kitchen time so we each can make dinner, if we want. My roommate is typically in her room at night with her pup and the door closed, so if I watch TV or have a guest over, I just keep the volume down. We're a really chill, happy home and I want to make sure, most of all, we're getting the right fit to stay part time in our space. Also interested in meeting folks who might need part time stays again in the future!
