This charmingly rustic stone farmhouse was built in the early 1700s and has unique features, including custom barn door kitchen cabinets, a large fireplace equipped with a wood burning stove, 20" deep window sills, oiled wood floors and furniture that has been in our family for over 140 years. There is a barn and garage on the 13-acre property. The barn was build in the mid-1800s, and the garage was built in 2000, but using traditional timber-framing techniques and aesthetics. There is a wood-fired hot tub and a large Roman-shaped plaster pool, 16 x 37 ft (open seasonally) May 15th on the property. There is a privacy fence between the pool area and the road. Rough plastered/painted walls. The Bedrooms The Skylight Bedroom has a full-size antique spool bed. The room has a skylight that overlooks the fire pit and pool area. There is also an antique dressing table and chair. One wall is rough plastered/painted and 3 walls are drywall. Bedding can be changed to antique quilts upon request. The West Bedroom - This room has an antique bed that is slightly wider that a twin bed. There is also a shaker rocking chair and side table. One wall is rough plastered/painted and 3 walls are drywall. Bedding can be changed to antique quilts upon request. The Master Bedroom - This room has a window that looks out on the arbor and the side yard. There is a king size bed, rustic cabinet, quilt rack and 100+ year old Chinese trunk. One wall is exposed stone, one wall is rough plastered/painted and two walls are drywall. Bedding can be changed to antique quilts upon request.
