About the Space

Our studio is nestled in the heart of Austin's east side, just minutes from downtown while also tucked away from busy traffic and thoroughfares. We are close to a grocery store, liquor store, many venues and nightclubs, and some residential areas. Our space was originally a warehouse that manufactured bulk chain and rope in the 1950's, and since has subdivided into many units hosting artists, makers, and small businesses, sharing a courtyard parking lot with neighboring tenants. For this reason, we prefer advance notice for larger indoor/outdoor events. The studio has a full-sized garage door, house projection screen, portable video monitor, metal and wooden accents, and a parking lot with up to 22 spaces available for special events (5 parking spaces designated for our studio 24/7). Pricing starts at $125, with larger capacity events at $150 or $175 per hour depending on the day of the week and time of day. Our studio/club default layout for Monks Jazz has a capacity of 50-60 (Flexible up to 70+ on your desired layout of tables/seats inside), and and larger events from 70-200 attendees can be accommodated by using extra rooms in our unit and out into the common areas of the complex. Full-Service In-House Audio and Video Recording of your event and use of our PA system are available for add-ons. *Please enter start time, end time, and estimated attendees to reflect estimated event total*

Cancellation Policy

Standard 30 day

Guests may cancel their Booking until 30 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 30 days and 7 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 7 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
