About the Space
Our property has a large amount of open, finished space (concrete patios and extensive wood decking) as well as nearly an acre of unmanicured open space with dry farmed fruit trees. In addition, the property has a new modern swimming pool, jacuzzi, heated pergola, firepit, and outdoor fireplace perfect for your next meeting retreat. There is also a large entertainment room with a polished concrete floor, professional bar that opens to an outdoor bar/seating area and the whole entertainment room opens to the outdoor space via a 14' wide fold-away glass wall. Cafe lighting helps create a beautiful and magical ambiance after the sun goes down. The area is unique in that is it open and natural yet quite close to downtown Oakland. There is ample street parking and lots of privacy. The venue lends itself to many types of situations and ideas.

Awesome space in the hills. Kerry and Chad were superb hosts, extremely accommodating and communicative. We did a company team offsite there for ~25 folks and it was a perfect indoor-outdoor space. Highly recommend!

Wonderful property! I hosted a team offsite here and everyone loved it. Lot’s of beautiful spaces and a huge yard to explore. The hosts were extremely thoughtful and helpful. Will definitely book again.

This was our third time booking with Kerryn for a team retreat, and once again she and her husband were perfect hosts! It was a bit warmer than we expected but there was still plenty of shade and places to hang out outside of the sun. For gathering in one place, I think it's most comfortable for 10-12, but it can hold a lot more with different breakout areas. It's a lovely property!

I rented this beautiful estate for my intimate wedding party. All of my guests had places to sit and enjoyed themselves exploring the property, playing on the bocce ball court, and the ping pong table. The pictures don't do this place justice! The property is absolutely beautiful along with the weather. Kerryn and Chad are great hosts. I highly suggest this place and hope to rent again in the future.

We absolutely loved our time using Chad and Kerryn's backyard retreat! I booked their place for a small 10 year high school reunion with ~18 people. Chad was an amazing host who helped answer all my questions leading up to our event, he helped me set-up the space in the morning, and was there if we had any issues. We hired a bartender for the event and the bar was perfect for our event. The pool was the perfect temperature, we enjoyed the bocce ball, and were able to play a slideshow on the tv in the pool room! Everyone was raving about the atmosphere and will remember Chad and Kerryn's place for a long time. I have already been recommending their place to others! 100% you have to book it!

Overall, Luxury Ranch-Style Estate is everything it is pictured as. We are a Doc-Production crew of about 20 folks. Everyone was able to self report and park in the neighborhood with no problems. We had a couple of noise interruptions when filming outside, as to be expected when in the elements, but Kerryn and her Husband, Chad, were able to help quickly resolve the challenges. We were able to get 11 different looks out of the home, so diversity in spaces was plentiful. The home overall is beautiful and has wonderful hosts. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for their next film location.
