About the Space
Do you need a genuine farmhouse vibe for your shoot, but don't want to drive out to the country? Our 1865 farmhouse with barn and large gardens, combines the best of genuine farmhouse charm with modern style. We have had multiple photo shoots and commercials filmed in our home over the years, so understand what’s involved in the creative process. Many of the house's vintage features remain intact, including the lovely wrap-around front porch flanked by a large perennial garden, the bright green original barn with a tin roof in the large backyard, floor to ceiling windows in the living room, original wainscoting on the dining room and kitchen walls, vintage farmhouse sink, built in cupboards, the multi-room interior - there are many opportunities to capture that perfect shot. We love sharing this historic house and believe you will feel its aura inspire you. Because the barn interior is used as a woodshop, it's interior use options are limited. Past commercials/photo shoots in our home include: Heinz Ketchup, The American Heart Association, Walmart, Children's Memorial Hospital, Ragu Pasta Sauce, Advocate Health System, Blue Cross, Splenda, The Greater Chicago Food Depository, The US Army, The Surgeon General's Office and more. - Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
- Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
- Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels

An absolute gem! An art director's dream - beautifully styled, original farmhouse in a vibrant neighborhood - an amazing location + a barn in the backyard. Couldn't have gotten any better for our shoot. The hosts were so very kind and accommodating! I would definitely book again.

Hosts could not have been more pleasant, flexible, or helpful. It's a great, charming residence with lots of options indoors and out, in a beautiful neighborhood. Mary even provided muffins straight from the oven! I couldn't imagine a better overall experience. Would highly recommend.

This Vintage Farmhouse was perfect for our shoot and the hosts couldn't have been more flexible. It was great to have options in terms of spaces within their home, which meant we were able to get more variety for our shots. Mary was incredibly responsive and helpful leading up to the shoot and the day of our shoot. She was quick to respond to messages and texts as needed. We definitely felt taken care of. Her professionalism throughout the process gave us confidence walking into that space, knowing we'd have an easy shoot day.
