From November 2021 until April 2022, the Theater is available for film production and photography. A production company can literally do anything they want to the theater with the exception of any demolition. This means a production designer can paint, change all the draperies, change the carpet, add facades, fixtures, etc. to their heart’s content. Beginning in April, 2022, the theater will (hopefully) begin renovations. The theater is in perfect condition for a horror or thriller project. In addition to the lobby and main floor, there is a second story hallway, office and utility room. Below the stage is a very haunting looking basement with two decrepit rooms, a connecting hallway, and a pair of creepy stair wells. The theater was originally built for vaudeville acts and, as such, it has a live stage! The stage also includes a flyaway projection screen. The 35 mm projector works. The curtains on the stage are hung on a motorized track and open and close with the push of a button. The appliances at the concession stand function. The marquee partially lights up. Some of the neon decor on the marquee is damaged or missing. The two ADA bathrooms are functional.
