We are also great for receptions, client events, fundraisers, cocktail parties, off-sites, presentations, luxury activations, and much more. Featuring: a luxurious, newly-remodeled top floor club lounge with wine bar and secret champagne room; a one-of-a-kind basement-level speakeasy with full bar and cocktail seating; a fabulously-designed main floor with custom blackjack table and plush lounge seating; and a gorgeous heated outdoor garden terrace with deck, featuring fire pits and designer outdoor furniture. ——————— PRODUCTION FAQ Q: Is there parking included, or a garage nearby? A: There are no included parking spots with the venue, and unfortunately, The Castro does not have a parking garage. We are located right on Market Street, and there is generally street parking available within 1-2 block radius. Q: Will there be a person on-site to let us in? A: Yes. Hourly rental includes a minimum of (1) staff member scheduled to be on-site for the duration of your shoot. Please be aware the staff person may not arrive until shortly before load-in, so do not panic if you arrive early and the building is closed! Q: How do vendors or personnel load-in to the venue? Is there a loading dock or designated area? A: There is no loading dock, elevator, or designated loading zone. Street parking is available or you may temporarily double park on Market Street for quick drop-offs. The outdoor space is below street level (down a few steps and through the building). The top floor lounge is up ~20 steps at the front of the building. Q: Can we arrive early? A: All load-in, set-up, tear-down time must be part of the hourly rentals. In other words, your rental begins at the time you enter the building. Please plan accordingly and book all the time you will need. Overtime is charged at 1.5x the hourly rate. Q: Is there WiFi? A: Yes, we have a 1GB guest network; the login information is provided by Peerspace upon booking, and can also be obtained from the on-site staff. Q: Can we tour the space before the shoot, or before making a decision on booking? A: Yes, of course. Just ask the host, who can provide a calendar link to schedule a site visit. Q: What about music? A: For video and photo shoots, please plan to provide your own self-contained / portable music system. Please keep music at a reasonable volume so as to not disturb our neighbors or other events happening on different floors.
