The Tastemakers House is a two-floor Brownstone is in the heart of Bedford-Stuyvesant, less than two blocks from the Tomkins Ave strip of restaurants, bars, and happenings for the culture. It is the NYC home of Tastemakers Africa. Filled with art and mementos from a life spent around the world, the place is rich with color, heritage, and style. The concept for the house was a collaboration between Blk Mkt Vintage and the founder/resident of the space. The indoor top floor lends itself well for photo shoots, cocktail parties, and intimate sit-down dinners (the formal dining table seats 8-10). There is a DJ table made out of live-edge wood, a full-sized kitchen, and a FRAME TV that can be used to display presentations, film, and other media (photography, video, connected to Spotify for music). The outdoor area has a beautiful Japanese teak wood bench and table set built-in. Additional amenities include a Weber grill, firepit, hose, and ample amount of space. Access to the space is through the main door to the Brownstone, access to the backyard is through the garden level. Beyond the space itself, we have access to chefs, DJs, A/V teams, photographers, and videographers if needed.
