Enhanced COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

TeamWorking is completely modular - not only does our furniture easily move, but so do our walls. Our event space is set up in a way that we can physically distance your guests to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe. At this time, we do encourage open windows to promote better ventilation and airflow. Formal sanitization procedures are in place throughout our entire space and follow all the federal and city guidelines. All conference rooms and surfaces within are disinfected before and after each use. Those who are not vaccinated are strongly encouraged to remain masked within TeamWorking at TechNexus.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
Disposable masks / face coverings
Disposable gloves
Hand Sanitizer

The space has the following features:

Capacity is limited based on governmental guidelines
Space has access to outdoor air ventilation
Space has HEPA-certified air filters
Space has additional space outdoors
Space has been reconfigured to allow for physical distance

Parking description

Unfortunately, there is no parking at the Civic Opera House. We recommend using SpotHero or other parking apps (10.S Wacker - The CME Building is the closest SpotHero garage). Otherwise, plenty of nearby parking options within a two block radius. We’re also walking distance to all CTA transportation as well as Ogilvie and Union Station.

General Rules

Event logistics should be confirmed at least 4 days prior to your event. Please be sure to provide the organizer's email address at the time of booking with TeamWorking. Once we have confirmed your reservation, we will send you an event checklist to fill out and a rental agreement to sign. If you have any other logistical questions, our reception desk can be reached at [email protected] to help you finalize details to ensure you have a perfect event! Drop off catering does not need a certificate of insurance however anything beyond that does. COI’s require 48 hour notice for approval.

Security cameras and recording devices

TeamWorking has security cameras installed throughout our office. We do record in our north and south kitchen as well as elevator banks and main entrance.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.
