About the Space

PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING AND RULES BEFORE MESSAGING. The NoMa Eco Rowhome is located just north of the H St Corridor and in walking distance of both Union and NoMa/Galludet Stations. The house is comfortable and not at all pretentious, ideal for casual gatherings and BBQs. Provide an overview of your Event Plan in your booking inquiry (include reason for event, food/beverage vision and budget, general information about attendees, music/sound, and any other relevant information). A more detailed Event Plan will be developed once preliminary details have been discussed. All renters must sign a service contract and submit a security deposit within 48 hours of finalizing the reservation on Peerspace but no less than 24 hours prior to the start of the reservation. ***PLEASE NOTE: Renters must use our private chef partners or apply for an exemption to use a third party caterer/chef for all food/beverage to be prepared on premise. Caterers/Private Chefs must carry professional licensing, $100,000 in liability insurance, event insurance (with alcohol rider for events where alcohol will be provided or served), and sign a separate facility use agreement with the host. Renters wishing to procure and provide off-site/delivered food must obtain an event insurance policy. Details will be provided during the booking process. All event supply rentals must be arranged with host through our partner rental services.*** CAPACITY: Indoor events are limited to 12 guests (cumulative total including any staff/contracted service providers). Indoor/Outdoor events can accommodate up to 25. LOGISTICS & AVAILABILITY: Standard hours of operation are as listed but earlier hours may be possible for an additional fee. Events must end and all guests exit by 11pm. Cleanup/breakdown may extend until 12am. Property will be opened by management at the designated setup time. Client will have open access to the unit starting at the designated event time. Guests not involved in setup/preparations are not permitted until the event's designated start time as defined in service contract. Host will notify you in person 30 minutes prior to your reservation end time to assist with any cleanup and closing instructions and lock up the property behind you. ALL guests must exit the property at the designated end time. Additional hours will be charged in 30-minute increments at the hourly rate specified in the service contract, payable immediately. INCLUDED IN RENTAL - Small home kitchen with fridge, stove/oven, dishwasher and assorted pots and pans. - Private Courtyard w/ seating & firepit (firewood and starter sticks can be provided with advance notice and additional cost) - 2 x CHARCOAL BBQ grills (charcoal and starter sticks can be provided with advance notice and additional cost) - Main floor living room w/ 43" Roku Smart TV - 1.5 bathrooms - Front porch - Board games & puzzles NOT INCLUDED IN RENTAL - Pictured basement w/ additional living area, TV, and full bathroom (can be included w/ additional fee) - Upstairs bedrooms - Carriage House a rear of property - Plates/cups/cutlery - we do not have sufficient quantities so these must be rented Optional Amenities & Services (additional fees apply): - Private Chef packages - Beverage & mixology packages - Movie projector w/ screen - Propane tank-top heaters (live flame, not suitable with children in attendance) - Sunshade for summer heat, 10x12 - Tent, 10x10 - Coat/Wardrobe rack rental - Tables (folding & adjustable height) - Event coordinator - Bartender and/or server - Dedicated on-site attendant - Splash Pad - Collapsible kiddie pool - Assorted electric fans (NOT water resistant, cannot be used in inclement weather) - Third Party event rental - Firewood bundle and waxwood starter sticks (no liquid or gas fire starters permitted) - Charcoal for grills TRANSPORTATION/PARKING This property is within easy walking distance of both NoMa/Galludet and Union Station Metro Stops, the H St Streetcar, and several buslines. Street parking is restricted for Zone 6 residents with resident permits only and has VERY limited availability. We can provide a visitor parking permit for ONE vehicle. There is a parking lot half a block south, which is owned by a local church. With advance notice, arrangements can be made to use their parking lot for an additional fee (up to ~30 vehicles). Valet service can also be arranged. THINGS TO NOTE: The entrance is located up several steps, there are stairs inside the home, and the courtyard is accessed down a few steps. This property is not handicap accessible and may be difficult to maneuver for certain disabilities or mobility limitations. The owner lives on site in the carriage house behind the courtyard and may be present for the duration of the event.

The entire house is professionally cleaned between each reservation and high touch surfaces are disinfected. Renters are responsible for ensuring their guests are vaccinated or tested prior to the even to prevent exposure.
