About the Space

Welcome to Brooklyn's most charming photo studio. The space has plants throughout. Feel free to do any replacement or removal of furniture or plants around - I just kindly ask you to be extra careful <3 We have a beautifully designed contemporary fireplace. All the walls are white including the ceiling. The light in the morning floods into the room. It is a creative space for all levels of production including but not limited to content creation, photo shoots, video-shoots, vlogs, video etc. Our space is situated just an 8-minute walk from the Halsey stop on the L train and thus close to many restaurants/ bars/supermarkets in the area. There's a extra to use both rooms (bedroom and living room area). Please check!

Lighting description

Tons of sunlight come through the window during the morning. In the afternoon it's very bright. If you wish to have the light blocked out please let us know in advance.

It's definitely not a noise space. The street in front of it is very calm so noises are not an issue here.

We have just one flight of stairs. The street is large so if you don't find parking in front of the space you can easily double parking and load your equipment.

You can just shoot inside of the Plantasia space. It's a townhouse so the upstairs area is not available.

General Rules

- No smoking in the building - No alcohol allowed after 8 pm - Staying past your booking without notice or permission will result in being charged a time and a half. Plantasia is a house located on the second floor of a townhouse so since we have neighbors it is strictly forbidden to use spaces outside the apartment. *No lights from outside into space. *Not image shoots coming from inside to outside space. It's ONLY allowed the use from the inside of Plantasia's place. A $500 fine will be applied if you break any of these rules. If you have any doubt, please check with the host. Bathroom: - SHARED BATHROOM is located down the hall. Photo/ video usage is NOT PERMITTED in the bathroom.

There's one security camera in the living room. The camera will be on and it only records video.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures

New Cleaning Protocol. We are taking extra sanitary precautions at the apartment to ensure you and your guests can relax and enjoy your booking with us. We are not only making these precautions for our guests, studio neighbors, but also ourselves. We typically use all-natural cleaning agents before and after every booking. Still, to ensure that our space is kept safe, we have been using Clorox Cleanup, Alcohol natural mixtures solutions (which is an effective coronavirus killer) spray on all surfaces, handles, doorknobs, etc. before and after each booking. We also provide hand soap for extensive hand washing.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

The following equipment is provided for every guest:

Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
Disposable masks / face coverings
Hand Sanitizer
