The "Reelin' & Relaxin'" nautical farmhouse is located 2 hours from Richmond, 2.5 hours from Virginia Beach/Hampton Roads area and just under 3 hours from Washington, DC in the beautiful Northern Neck of Virginia near the Chesapeake Bay located in Reedville, Virginia. The house itself is spacious with three bedrooms (king suite, 2 twins, 2 queens) with a large dining room that seats eight, large farmhouse kitchen with extra seating and a plentiful coffee & tea bar, cozy living room and 2 full bathrooms. There are open fields surrounding the cottage for a peaceful setting. The infamous "Sunnybank Ferry" (free of charge for service) is located within walking distance at the end of the road on the picturesque Little Wicomico river, and super close to the Chesapeake Bay. The charming town of Reedville, Virginia is located within 5 minutes. Businesses in Reedville offer sport fishing charters and regularly-scheduled cruises to Tangier Island as well as restaurants featuring local catch seafood. The entire house and immediate surrounding outside areas are available for use. Large front sitting porch is a great spot for a photoshoot, small meeting, small nuptial service, yoga session, and more. The house features a large and gorgeous dining room table for 8 people, with large farmhouse kitchen. The short and long term rental home sleeps 8; 1 king suite upstairs with full bathroom that includes a trundle bed with 2 twins, and downstairs has two private bedrooms with 2 queen beds. The property is .5 acre that backs up to a farm and located 1.6 miles to Smith Point Marina - the gateway to the Chesapeake Bay with chartered fishing boats, slips, electric car powering station, camping and more. The house itself has everything needed for a comfortable stay whether it be for a few hours or few weeks in regards to normal life. Anything above or beyond that; props, special cooking equipment, tents, etc. are not provided.
