Enhanced COVID-19 Health & Safety Measures

The gallery space will be disinfected and cleaned thoroughly before and after every hire. We will run the space in accordance to the government covid guidelines. Hand sanitiser and cleaning supplies will be available.

Enhanced cleaning measures:

The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning

All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:

Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

About the Space

New gallery space in the centre of town with easy access to the train station. Located on the ground floor of an art space with 20 artist studios. The gallery can be used for meetings, talks, running workshops/classes, private events, and parties. There is a café on the same floor, adjacent to the gallery. Easily buy drinks and snacks.

Located 3 minutes walk from Guildford train station. Plenty of paid parking options available on site or in nearby parking lots.

General Rules

-Smoking is not permitted in any part of New House. -Please be considerate to the artists working in the building. -Need to be notified what the space will be used for. -Please keep all doors closed so that pin entry is required.

All ages are allowed in the space

Security cameras and recording devices

Security camera at the front door (only entrance) and a video door entry system. Will be on. Footage is recorded and can be reviewed.

Recording devices in bathrooms or dressing rooms are prohibited by the Peerspace Services Agreement.
