25 minutes outside of NYC, you can find a beautiful colonial-style home that serves as a sanctuary and library for Black memorabilia, as well as BIPOC. Carefully curated by the owner of the home, we have a private collection of Black memorabilia enclosed in the built-in glass cabinets, and in just about every nook and cranny in the house. With five rooms, each with a different color, it is a great space to do take photographs, host and record small conversations, and browse Afro-History. You can find beautiful custom stained glass windows, as well as a beautiful golden hour in the dining room. We also have a deck that is available for use upon request for outdoor shoots. While the rooms already have color, color gels can be brought to enhance the tones of the space. We have five spaces available to renters: The Vestibule"ShakaZulu" The Den " Blue Bliss " The Living Room "The Library" The Kitchen The Dining Room " The Parlor "
