ANIMALS • Gem House allows well behaved, housebroken dogs that weigh under 20lb. • Cats and other animals are not permitted. • Dogs will only be allowed with prior written consent, granted at the time of booking. If an unauthorized dog is brought onto the property your booking will be considered in contravention of the booking agreement, a $500 pet deep cleaning fee will be applied and you will be asked to vacate the property immediately. • Dogs may not be left alone at the property during your stay. If a pet dog is left alone at the property your booking will be considered in contravention of the booking agreement and you will be asked to vacate the property immediately. • Dogs may not sleep in or on the beds and must be kept off the furniture. • All bookings with pet dogs will have a pet deep cleaning fee applied. Please select the number of dogs you are bringing to the property under the "guests" section in the booking form. • These rules exist to ensure that the house will be entirely allergen-free for the next group of guests, and for a person with a pet allergy who regularly stays in the house. NOISE AND PARTIES • Amplified music is not allowed outside the house. Guest agrees not to use speakers outside and not to increase the volume inside so that it can be heard outside. • Guest agrees to keep the noise level inside the house under respectable levels, so as to not interfere with the peace and quiet of any person outside the boundaries of the property. • Guest agrees to conform to all provisions and city ordinances per the relevant Municipal Code. • No party or event may take place without prior written permission. For the purposes of this rental agreement, we will consider that there is a party at the property whenever the number of daytime occupants in the house exceeds the maximum number of eight (8) daytime occupants or whenever the noise level at the property is beyond what is reasonably accepted as normal. ADDITIONAL OCCUPANTS • The number of overnight occupants should not exceed that described in the booking summary • The number of daytime occupants should not exceed eight (8) people. • Per Palm Springs City Regulations the house can accommodate a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children overnight occupants SMOKING • Absolutely NO SMOKING INSIDE the house. CHECK IN • Unless agreed differently in writing, check-in is any time after 3:00 PM. CHECK OUT • The checkout time is 10:00 AM. • A late check-out may be exceptionally granted if the request for a late check-out is made at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the check-out date stated on the agreement, and the property does not have another guest arriving on that day. • A late checkout fee of $100 per hour will apply for all late checkouts that do not have prior written approval. POOL & SPA HEATING • The pool and hot tub use a lot of natural gas to heat and hold their temperature. • If you would like the pool heated and to use the hot tub a fee of $50/day will be charged prior to arrival. CLEANING • The property will be thoroughly inspected and cleaned after your departure. • The cleaning fee you have paid will cover this. • You are requested to leave the property in the same general condition that you received it by following the checkout instructions that are provided in the house manual. GUEST LIABILITY Guest agrees to accept liability for any damages caused to the property (other than normal wear and tear) by Guest or their group.
