About the Space

The home was originally designed by J Herbert Brownell in 1962 as part of the Compact Homes project in San Diego. Today, it is listed on mid-century tours of the city as an example of efficient and affordable design. I have started renovations on the home with a bar and bathroom update and will continue to do so over the next 2-3 years. I am about 5 blocks from the beach with amazing sunset colors and ocean views, and there is a ton of natural light given that almost 50% of the house is windows on the western face. There is a large front yard that is getting renovated this year, along with a side patio that would be good for staging and setup on any photoshoots. Please note that there is a 5 hour minimum for all shoots.
