In the backyard, there's several amenities: sauna, wood fired soaking tub, cold plunge, BBQ, Chiminea and outdoor tables with seating. When it gets rainy, the indoor fireplace, the clawfoot tub, and custom sheepskins and hearty, thick textiles make for the best warmth. The space is accessible from the front and back--fully fenced and escape-proof for little dogs. A front gate leads directly to the front porch and a side gate to enter the backyard or into the side of the house. This location is ideal for biking to St Johns, Kenton, the Mississippi neighborhood and all along the bluffs of North Portland and Willamette Blvd. It is also only 1 mile to University of Portland and the Adidas Headquarters/Campus. Five miles--a quick drive, a smooth bike ride or fun bus/max commute--to the center of the city. As there are so many wonderful things to check out in downtown, there are also many attractions that make beautiful day trips: the beach, Mount Hood, several hiking spots, etc. As a result of COVID-19, 'Force of Nature' is being used to clean this household between each guest.
