About the Space
Once a 1930s mom-and-pop grocery store and later a costume rental shop, this mixed-use building in Greenwood is getting a new life as a flexible studio space available for hourly rentals. Original fir hardwood floors, exposed brick, and great natural light make this an incredibly unique and flexible space. From yoga classes to photoshoots, artist rehearsals to small workshops, engagement, and surprise parties, we look forward to welcoming you to our space. Features the charm of a Pioneer Square loft without the hassle of parking and stair climbing! Street parking is readily available directly out front of the building on 3rd Ave. Featuring: - 500sf flexible studio space - 12’ ceilings - Exposed brick wall - Eclectic and colorful art, antiques and furnishings - Large gold mirror on rollers for rehearsal - Private entrance with app control key lock - Private bathroom - Historical vibes and great light - Easy load-in access and parking - 8 wood folding chairs and 6ft folding table available (BYO Table Cloth) Perfect for: - Lifestyle, boudoir, and promotional photoshoots - Pop-up shops and gallery openings - Intimate gatherings such as bridal and baby showers, graduation and engagement parties, fitness and dance classes. - Video production, podcast recordings, and Youtube/social media filming. Please note, our building is located on a main street so there will be the usual street noise. We live next to a butcher shop that gets morning deliveries, I recommend filming after 11am - 12pm. Please keep in mind this is a residential area and we have a strict "keep the front door shut" policy during your booking. Please do not smoke in the studio. Your rental time includes a private bathroom, WiFi, speaker with Bluetooth, and furniture. There is no kitchen in the studio, on occasion we may be able to place a few items in our personal fridge before your event. For beverages, a cooler with ice is recommended. This is not only a rental space, it's our home (plus our dog Rocky)! Owners live on-premise but you will have private access to the studio space. We work from home most work days. Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
