About Norwich Camera Company

Studio 3 offers an easily accessible photo studio in the heart of downtown Norwich, CT. Space Layout: 12ft by 25ft of open floor space with plain white walls and natural oak hardwood floors. 2 Large bay windows that are able to be utilized full open or completely closed off from the outside world. Mini living room setup that is able to be reconfigured including a mid-century modern 71" tufted light turquoise blue sofa. Support equipment/Backdrops on site: -86" Savage seamless paper. Pure White, Black, Fashion Gray are loaded onto our roller system. Yes, we have a lot of them from half frame all the way up to 8x10 studio cameras. Please send us an inquiry for film camera usage and films available. We do have a dark bag on site to load your own large format holders or we can pre load holders for you with standard Arista 100/400 BW film. We offer film developing and scanning at our lab down the road. For our wet plate shooters, we do have a pop up darkroom located in the basement for your use. You must bring your own plates and chemistry. Powerful editing bay loaded with all Adobe products and tethering tools are available for use to an external 39" monitor facing the studio space. Please inform us of your intentions to use this computer before your session. Bluetooth speakers and vinyl turntable available for session use.

Health and Safety Measures
Enhanced cleaning measures:
  • The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
  • High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
  • Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
  • Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
The following equipment is provided for every guest:
  • Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels
  • Disposable masks / face coverings
  • Hand Sanitizer
The space has the following features:
  • Space has access to outdoor air ventilation
  • Space has HEPA-certified air filters

Had a great time! Andrew was so helpful with lighting and backdrop, I really appreciated that since I’ve never used that kind of lighting. Highly recommend!
