Our 1,800 sq ft newly renovated creative loft space located in DTLA. With our freshly painted Cyclorama wall, full sets of Profoto gear and industrial design, our space is perfect for: Photo shoots, commercial shoots, film shoots, interviews, performances, and anything your creative team needs! Standard rate: $100/hr (60 people max) Our studio features: - 13 ft x 13ft x 13ft Cyclorama wall (painted upon request) - Ground floor for easy access and equipment loading - 30 ft high ceiling - Make up station - Full size bar set - Large floor-to-ceiling windows - Bathroom - Exposed brick walls We offer: -$60 for freshly painted Cyc What's around us? So first off, I will say that I loved how the space looked and how my baby shower went. Unfortunately, I have to rate this space 1 star because of my overall experience with the host. I let the host know that I needed a tour before the event so that I could scope out the space before the big day. She agreed and we scheduled. Fast forward to the day of the tour. I got to the location and messaged the host upon my arrival. The lobby guy let me in. At this point, I had not heard anything from Faye about how to get in or anything but I had the apartment name and room number. I knocked and there was no answer. FYI, I came at the exact time we scheduled. I gave Faye a call and no answer. I called again with a text and again, no answer. I waited outside the room for 30 mins with no callback or text or anything. Of course, I decided to leave and about 2 hours later she texted my phone with a very brief message saying “Hello, i’m very sorry which location?” verbatim. I texted her letting her know that I showed up at the home on time and inquired on why she left me hanging. No response at all. This was very unsettling and unprofessional to me. I decided to contact peerspace so that I could work on getting a new place and getting a full refund. About a few days later I get an email from peer space letting me know that they have reached out to her, letting her know that she needs to respond to me. About a week later, I got a call from Faye and she apologized for her behavior and let me come in for a tour asap. I got the tour and because my shower was coming so soon and had not yet found another space, I decided to move forward with this space, praying that nothing else would go wrong :(. On the day of my event, I reached out to her letting her know that we were on our way and if we needed anything different to get in this time. She, of course, did not respond. Thank the Lord, that we had the code from the tour and that it hadn’t changed because if we didn’t there’s a good chance the event would have never happened.
