About The Museum of American Heritage
Our spacious historic garden features historic irises and an arbor of wisteria in the spring, surrounded by century old redwoods. Garden is on the grounds of a museum that is open to the public, Fri. to Sun. 11am to 4pm. 2-hour parking limits for street parking during the weekdays. We do have a very small parking lot in the back for a few cars to park.

Health and Safety Measures
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

This is such a great venue! The gardens are beautiful, the people are amazing to work with and you get the bonus of a cool museum for your guests to explore. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate my sisters engagement. thank you Michelle, Zoey and Lauren!

This space was absolutely lovely —we had a spring baby shower. Unfortunately the day was cold and rainy day so we used the indoor space next to the garden area. Michelle went absolutely out of her way to accommodate our group and was very helpful and responsive ahead of the event. She communicated everything that we should expect and it was all accurate. The site is beautiful, easy to find with plenty of parking. We could not have been happier with the day!

Michelle was welcoming and communicated well with us throughout the whole process - from reservation to the event date. The venue was a quiet, peaceful and beautiful place for our wedding reception. We were able to rent tables and chairs, which simplified the process.

A perfect venue for our baby shower! The beautiful garden is meticulously maintained and everyone that we worked with at the Museum was so responsive, knowledgable, and kind. We used the arbor area to set up the tables available from the museum for everyone to sit down for brunch. Our caterer (Deja Vu in Sunnyvale who we would highly recommend) used another couple of the tables to lay out the buffet spread, which all fit in the arbor. We used the front grassy area for the welcome drinks, activity and photos. Plenty of parking, convenient restrooms, and the smooth gravel pathways make everything accessible. All our guests LOVED the venue and we had many requests to just go ahead and plan the 1st birthday party there. Probably will!!!

I had booked this location for my dad's Celebration of Life as I had wanted a location that better reflected his personality and life than a funeral parlor or church. The staff helped to set up and made sure everything went smoothly as well as were available to answer any questions. Most flowers are in bloom now, so if you are able to book soon, it is especially nice.

The front lawn area is perfect for shooting gorgeous photos during sunset time. Our guests totally loved it. The staff (Allison and team) were outstanding throughout and very helpful right from the beginning. The facilities at the location were great too. I will definitely host an event again at this location.
