Established in 2013, LUMI is a versatile photo and film production studio located in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, with convenient access via the Eastern Freeway. Housed within a character-filled 1960s factory, the studio combines a clean, monochromatic aesthetic with subtle industrial details. Its adaptable shooting areas include a large 6.5m × 5.5m white cyclorama, a black cyclorama, textured white brick, concrete and grey surfaces, plus a feature wall designed for custom sets and interchangeable backgrounds. The studio offers natural light as well as blackout capability, making it suitable for both daylight shoots and fully controlled lighting setups. Additional lighting, grip and production equipment can be hired on site. Located on private laneway, LUMI also allows outdoor photography and filming around the premises. On-site parking is available for clients, crew and production vehicles with easy single story access via a large roller door.
