If you are a smoker, you may smoke OUTSIDE, but I ask that you please dispose of your butts. Smoking is absolutely not allowed inside. $200 penalty per day fee will be charged to anyone who smokes inside or close enough to the house with a door or window open so that the house smells of smoke on the inside. Pets must be secured while unattended either outside or inside the house. If you intend to leave your pet inside the house, the pet must be in a portable kennel so that they may not roam the house while you are away. It is not recommended to leave your pet outside the house due to the Houston heat, but if you do, the pet must be secured on a leash or in a kennel. Be aware that the house is equipped with motion detectors that will detect your pet's movements within the house, and if this happens the police will be notified of an intruder. Your pets are your responsibility and must be either secured or attended while inside or outside the house. It is your responsibility to clean up after your pet's mess. We will deduct from the deposit a significant charge if we find pet mess after a guest leaves. The ONLY GUESTS that are ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY are those that are staying there and confirmed when making the reservation. The home is to be used by you only, please NO unexpected guests at the house or parties. Please CLEAN UP after yourself. If you use pots or dishes, wash them and put them away. If you use the coffee maker, clean it out after each use. Please do not leave out food or used food containers. Please dispose of food wrappers, used napkins, clothing tags, feminine hygiene products, etc IN the trash can in the bathroom or in the kitchen. If the trash can gets full during your stay, please take out the trash. Please use the utilities (water, electricity) within reason. Remember to switch off the lights, fans, and set the AC or Heat to an energy efficient level. Please hang wet towels on the rack, shower curtain rail, or on the hook in the bathroom, not on the furniture. Respect my house, my things, the neighbors, and the neighborhood, but please have fun and feel free to relax!
