No smoking in the building. Outside beverage is not allowed. Any food brought to the venue must be through an approved catering company prior to booking. Catering must have staff to set up, maintain food during the event, and clean up at the end of the event, including trash removal. All trash must be removed at the end of the event. No alcohol served before 11AM. Cable bumpers is required to secure cords. No tape (duct tape, gorilla tape etc.) is permitted. No confetti, glitter, bubbles, sand, paper streamers, silly string, fake snow, or other similar damaging items is not permitted at the venue. Hazers and fog machines are also not permitted. The Adams Avenue team will not receive shipped items on client's behalf before the contracted rental time. All items must be brought in and out during the reservation time stated on contract. The client is required to hire professional security at a minimum ratio of one security guard or police member for every one hundred (100) guests for ALL publicly attended, ticketed events. A maximum of three security guards are needed to be stationed at exits and entrances. Security must be present & on-duty 1 hour prior to event start time & 1 hour post event end time. Groups including individuals less than 18 years of age must be chaperoned by parents/faculty/school staff members at a minimum required ratio of one adult to twenty-five (25) minors. No pets/animals are permitted in the venue. Rental time is not to exceed the contracted time. Any time beyond this (either before or after) will be billed at an hourly rate (in one-half hour increments) and overtime charges may apply. You are responsible for coordinating with any vendors on the prescribed times. Customizing the Marquee Please provide us the specifics on what you would like included no later than 1 week before your event. The Marquee will be customized the morning of your event and taken down when your event is over. *Please note we have a limited amount of letters so keep it short and sweet! An on site venue manager will be available at all times during your event. They can answer any questions you might have regarding the venue and its amenities. Their primary duty is to make sure The Adams Avenue Theater policies are being abided by. Your point of contact, as well as your vendors, will check-in and check-out with the venue manager. Main point of contact must be preset for the entire duration of venue rental. INCLUDED EQUIPMENT: A/V Equipment: Projector, Sound System with (1) handheld and (1) lapel mic Our on site venue manager will assist you in connecting your laptop to the In-House sound system and projector. Connection to the system is via HDMI or wireless connection. Our system is plug and play meaning a laptop or phone can be used to play music. We have a variety of cords and connections necessary to plug in the majority of tech. Connecting a mixer into the sound system is through XLR connections. If you have a band or require special A/V assistance, this service is not included. We can coordinate an A/V specialist for you at an additional charge.
