About the Space

The Marti-Maceo Cuban Cafe is a centennial cultural hub for the Afro-Cuban community in Ybor City. Housed at the home of La Union la Sociedad Marti Maceo, one hundred and twenty years ago the founders dreamed of an inclusive and welcoming social club with the most fantastic drinks and authentic food. We’re reviving nuestra tradición of hospitality and comunidad. Come host your family gatherings, corporate events, and private parties at our event hall, or enjoy Ybor City’s sunny afternoons on our patio, sipping your favorite Cuban cocktails and tasting one of our original Cuban sandwiches. Finish off with enjoying your favorite cigar. We cater Cuban criollo food too!

Health and Safety Measures
Enhanced cleaning measures:
  • The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
  • High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
  • A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
  • Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
The following equipment is provided for every guest:
