This renovated modern historic farmhouse belonged to Franz who was one of the first immigrants to Schulenburg from Austria. He fought in the civil war and died of his injuries shortly thereafter. His son built this farmhouse on this land and it was handed down from generation to generation until it was lost in foreclosure. I purchased the property with the intention to flip it but I fell in love with the history and the small town. I decided to update the farmhouse and keep it to share! The town the farmhouse is located in is halfway between Austin, San Antonio, and Houston and the area features painted churches, wineries, wedding venues, and festivals. Plenty of restaurants and farms that offer fresh eggs and cheese are all around. You also have a private chef for hire in town that is excellent for all your special events. You also have a driving service similar to Uber that can take you to all of the wineries and lunch spots. This farmhouse would be great for vintage photos, photo shoots, movies of all genres, catalogs, meetings, team building events, team home for photo shoots at the local points of interest. The farmhouse sits on two acres so you can use the farmhouse with the backyard or you can use the 2 acres for all sorts of activities. There is a Travel Trailer/RV hookup and a Tesla Charger on site. The house sits at the back of the 2 acres so there is plenty of space for parking of all sorts and set up space for pop ups. The area for the TravelTrailer/RV is also in the back of the property. The property is gated and easy access to town. There is a separate fee for using the RV hookup and rates are higher for guests over 8.
