- Our house is on a septic system, and we kindly request that you refrain from putting anything other than toilet paper down the toilet. This means no paper towels, tampons, tissue, or anything else should be flushed. A trash can is provided next to the toilet for any non septic safe items. - Please keep noise levels down after 10pm. Sound travels far in the desert. Please be respectful of our neighbors. - By connecting to our guest WiFi, you agree not to use the internet for any illegal activity. - We ask that you do not bring additional/unauthorized guests to the house unless receiving prior approval. This pertains to pets as well. - Please communicate transparently prior to your check in regarding additional guests and pets. - Please turn off all lights and electronics, and lock all doors before leaving the premises. - When you leave, please make sure your dishes are cleaned and do your best to leave the property in the same condition as when you arrived. The trash should be taken out of the house prior to your departure and placed in the cans provided next to the garage. - We welcome dogs under 45lbs, (dogs over 45lbs must get approval from host before booking). If guests violate rules regarding pets or fail to clean up after their pets additional fees will be charges at the hosts discretion. Please be advised that there is wildlife in the desert, like coyotes and hawks that may pose a danger to your dog. Though our backyard is enclosed, coyotes have been known to jump fences. We recommend that you keep your dog on a leash at all times when outdoors. If you let your dog off leash, you do so at your own risk. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or bedding. Pick up all dog waste. Dogs should not be left in the house unattended. - The owner may withhold all or part of the deposit if any of the house rules are broken. Cause for withholding deposit funds include, but are not limited to, the following: • Damage to the premises or contents • Missing items requiring replacement (including keys) • Excessive cleaning required • Not complying fully with the "before you depart" checklist • Lingering smell of tobacco smoke - Charges for mailing personal items left behind • Evidence of more persons using the property than were authorized • Evidence of a dog that wasn't authorized • Unauthorized late check out. - We have an outdoor clawfoot tub installed with running hot and cold water. You must run the hot water only a quarter of the way turned on in order to fill the tub with hot water. Please exercise caution when using this feature of the house and be sure the water is turned off and the tub is drained when you are done.
