This charming, century-old arts and crafts stone home is situated on a half-acre wooded lot in the mountains above LA, with plenty of room for parking and beautiful spaces for both interior and exterior shoots. It's located one mile above Honolulu Avenue in Montrose, which is a popular location for exterior cafe and street scene shoots. The public areas of the house include an airy kitchen with Carera marble counters and two walls of wraparound windows; a spacious living-room with a working fireplace, a dining-room that can accommodate up to 12, and an unusually large front vestibule with a vaulted ceiling, seating areas, and three large windows. (All windows through out the house look out on private, verdant exteriors.) Two bedrooms are available for shoots, including a large master suite and a smaller room currently set up as a guest-room/office. The property also includes a spacious patio with a rustic gray stone fireplace, an elevated side porch with a cafe table and a beautiful view of the large yard, and numerous mature and flowering trees. There is also a cobalt blue-tiled pool and hot tub under an commodious oak tree, and a charming pool house with exposed beams and a swing. The pool and pool house are currently not available to rent but if interested you're interested let us know and we will create a separate listing for them.
