Our studio is located in an old grocery store. There's plenty of parking available at all times.

We have a full wall of windows with half of them being floor to ceiling. We do not offer blackout curtains but we have white curtains that can be adjusted to filter and control the light. We also have a separate space closed off from the main studio designed specifically with artificial light in mind. You will have access to that space if needed.

While Ki Mexico does have bands playing Thursday-Sunday, we have renters who regularly shoot video with no problems.

Ground Floor

Equipment can be loaded in and out via the handicap ramp at the front of the building. You may also park right by our front door to load in and out, but we ask that you move your vehicles to a marked parking spot as soon as reasonably possible out of respect for our neighbors.

There are two studios in the space, you may use the one you're not using for shooting as a staging area. The artificial space also has a projector and screen as well as an Apple TV for streaming.

There is a separate room in the back left that is off limits & 2 small offices that are off limits, but they should be locked at all times.

Can I bring my own props and lighting? Of course! We have some props and lighting here that you are more than welcome to use, rearrange, etc. but we are always happy to have you bring your own equipment and/or props! What happens if damage is done to one of the studio’s props, lights, property, etc? Don’t panic! Just talk with us and let us know what happened. If damage is your fault, all we ask is that you replace what you damaged. If we need to work with you on a payment plan for replacing said items or property damage, we are more than happy to do so! Damage doesn’t happen often so this is normally not something we ever have to worry about but if it does happen on your watch, just breathe, friends, and let us know as soon as possible :) What are my responsibilities when renting the space? All we ask is that you are respectful of the property & it’s contents and that you replace everything the way you found it so that the next person can use and enjoy the space the way you were able to enjoy and use it. :) For your safety: We do have security cameras on site in the studio. These are to remain where they are for the safety of you, your client, our clients, and the owner.

Our space is designed to be flexible. You may rearrange any furniture, wall decor, or other props, but please do not remove them from the building.
