This beloved community space typically houses professional improv + sketch comedy (as well as experimental/alt theatre) shows in CBus! A beautiful, cozy-yet-somehow-roomy mainstage allows you to have up 50 attendees to your event or meeting! Bonus: You can also share our lobby/lounge area during your gathering too. Our stage area holds 50 seated for most events. This space is rentable for PRIVATE EVENTS ONLY - like group meetings, showers, weddings, church/spiritual services, holiday parties, etc. (No shows may take place with this rental as our brand is tied to the building.) Things to know / Bonus stuff on us: *Lights for space are overhead panel lights, which light our mainstage, lobby, and classroom areas. Our lighting system is off-limits for rentals, but we can set a light level and leave it for you if desired. We can also give you access to our sound system via Bluetooth so you can put on a playlist for your gathering. *You can use our theater area (50 seats) and pass through our lobby before your program/gathering too. (Our lobby holds an additional 20 and is free for you to use as you greet guests; Other groups may also be passing through this space depending on day.) *Need bar service / drinks? It is possible to book a bartender for the beginning of your event, like a cocktail hour, for an additional fee. We’re delighted to share our home for private events during our non-show/class times.
