About the Space

The site is a wonderful background for wedding, engagement, yearbook and family pictures. Ducks and swans are frequent visitors in the photos. Pictures can be taken on the dock, in front of and behind the brook. There is a nationally known Magnolia tree at the right time of year.   • The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
All hosts are required to do the following prior to each booking:
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
  • Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
  • Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
  • Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

Yes, I would book again.

Wonderful and whimsical little spot! I am a local photographer. I shot some early Mom and Me mini sessions here in very early April. While the beautiful magnolia tree hadn’t opened yet and plantings were still very small, the brook was wonderful and decor still very springy. I really appreciated the owner’s communication prior to the event about the gardens progress and the efforts she went through to create an inviting and beautiful space for us. The children delighted when she was able to lure ducks down the brook… which made moms happy and photos great! I look forward to shooting here again.
