Kensington Studios is a versatile event space located in the heart of Toronto's vibrant Kensington Market. This unique venue, housed in a historic Victorian home, offers a variety of spaces perfect for a range of events, from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations. Our Studios The Light Room: This bright and airy space features high ceilings, large windows, and a built-in bar. It's perfect for receptions, cocktail parties, and other social events. The Dark Room: This more intimate space offers a cozy atmosphere, ideal for meetings, workshops, performances, or dinners. Change the lighting and it's a full on club. The Tiki Room: This unique space features a tropical theme perfect for themed parties, photo shoots, or any event that requires a summer vibes. The Green Room: located in the basement, featuring a sound sensitive cloud ceiling, coat racks, make up station, plant draped walls for photo shoots, and 2 washrooms. All Bookings Include: Access to all spaces within the Studio Indoor Bar: The Light Room features a fully equipped bar with 3 sinks, 2 mini fridges, cooler, microwave, and coffee machine. Tiki bar: full bar in the back patio with 2 fridges, sink, and cooler Sound System: The venue is equipped with a sound system to enhance your event's ambiance. System includes the Fender Passport Venue Series 2 with 2 Altos Ts408 speakers and EV ElX200 18” Subwoofer. RGB Light Installation: Our customizable tube light installation is sound sensitive and include multiple looks. All lighting is customizable throughout the studio Fog machine and Projector: included in price. Fog has auto timer settings. Bring a usb with mp4 videos or jpeg photos and project your visuals on the projector screen! Security: security at the door is required for bookings with 40+ guests. 2 security personnels are required for events with 70+ guests. Please add your security personnel as an add-on when booking. Wi-Fi: High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the venue. Direct Ethernet connection available for live streaming! Restrooms: 2 Clean and well-maintained restrooms are available for guests. Furniture: 60 Folding chairs, Folding tables (8 6ft, 2 5ft, 2 4ft), 5 bar stools, 6 Director chairs, 4 tall director chairs, 3 beige arm chairs, 2 benches, 1 loveseat, 2 throne chairs, 4 coffee tables. Heating and cooling available all seasons. Loading parking zone available. Street parking is free after 6pm on Kensington Ave and free after 9pm on Dundas. There is a Parking Garage a block away on St. Andrew with very reasonable rates. Camera equipment rentals, A/V technician, event taping and live-streaming are also available at an additional cost. The unique features within this venue create a versatile setup for weddings, birthdays, business functions, events, photo and video shoots, concerts, private functions, pop up stores, performances, presentations, workshops, and more. * A $500 security deposit is required for all bookings that will be serving alcohol. ** A Special Occasions Permit (SOP) is required for all events with alcohol present. Instructions will be sent once booking is approved.**

Cancellation Policy

Standard 90 day

Guests may cancel their Booking until 90 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 90 days and 14 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 14 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more

All Bookings are subject to Peerspace’s Grace Period policy which provides a full refund for Bookings cancelled within 24 hours from receipt of a Booking Confirmation but no later than 48 hours prior to the Event start time.
