Please read through our house rules to see if our home is a good fit for your stay. We want to be as clear and transparent with our guests as possible. The City of La Quinta has strict rules regarding occupancy (day & night), hosting of events and noise ordinance. The rules below are consistent with the laws of the city and should be taken seriously. Should any of the rules be violated the fines incurred will be passed on to the guests responsible. HOUSE RULES: *No outdoor music or noise after 10pm per city ordinance. No speaker systems or amplifiers of any kind allowed. The city is very strict on this policy and may issue fines of up to $1,000, without warning, for violations that will be the guest's sole responsibility to pay. No exceptions!* *Maximum 8 overnight guests allowed (10pm-6:59am) per city ordinance. *Any additional guests visiting the property must be noted and agreed upon with us in advance. There are to be no overnight guests not originally registered for the booking. *THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE. I cannot stress this enough. This is a very quiet neighborhood please respect my home and my neighbors when it comes to parking and noise. Small/intimate gatherings are ok but no loud music or large parties allowed at the property whatsoever. Please keep noise to a reasonable level at all times but especially during evenings. *No under-aged drinking allowed on the premises. *No drugs or smoking (marijuana, cigarettes, vapes/e-cigs) are allowed on the premises. Any smoke smell found in the unit after your departure will result in your security deposit not being returned and possible additional cleaning costs. *Maximum 4 parked cars allowed at the home. Please park your cars in the driveway and if necessary, along the street closest to my home. No illegal parking or blocking of driveways/mailboxes. Again, please respect my home, my neighbors and the neighborhood. *Please pick up after yourselves and treat the property as if it were your own. Excess trash or excessive cleaning may be subject to fines and/or additional cleaning fees. *Children are entirely welcome – they will need to be accompanied by parents or guardians at all times, especially in the pool area. There is no lifeguard on duty and use of the property and pool are done so at your own risk. The space is suitable for children but is not guaranteed to be baby-proof or child-proof. Please inspect the space upon arrival for any hazards. It is your responsibility to watch your children at all times, especially in the pool area! *No pets. No exceptions. Liability: The owners of the home do not assume liability for the loss, theft, damage or injury (or death) to persons or their personal property. Guests agree to indemnify and hold the owners harmless for any liabilities, theft, damage, cost or expense whatsoever arising from or related to any claim or litigation which may arise out of or in connection with Guests’ use and occupancy of the vacation rental, including but not limited to claims for personal injury or property damage/loss. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of anything arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to visit the premise. *****If there are reports of any disturbances at the property, you will be responsible for any fines or penalties associated with those claims, which may include termination of your stay, if necessary.
