Colour and Sense Studio: A Creative Sanctuary in Hackney Wick Located in one of London’s most vibrant artistic communities, Colour and Sense Studio is a thoughtfully curated, ever-evolving creative space. Originally used as a gallery and working studio by artist Mars Leon, it now serves as a versatile location for photo and film shoots, interviews, workshops, movement sessions, and more. The space has recently been refreshed with a polished grey self-levelling concrete floor marbled with soft pink undertones. Combined with new modular furnishings, updated artworks, and a pink hammock feature, the atmosphere feels contemporary, warm, and adaptable. Key Features • 2-Level Mezzanine Layout A visually striking structure that allows for multiple shooting perspectives. The ground floor includes modular, easy-to-move furnishings, while the second floor offers an elevated vantage point for shooting from above. Upstairs also features an art-studio section with additional paintings and works in progress. • Dressing & Styling Area (Entrance Level) Located close to the entrance for easy access, this comfort-oriented area is ideal for wardrobe changes, makeup, and styling. It keeps the main studio floors clear and ready for shooting. • Ever-Evolving Design The studio is updated regularly with new artworks, textiles, and colour studies. Furnishings may vary slightly from photos, but the aesthetic remains cohesive and sensory-driven. • Curtains & Backdrops Throughout Soft curtains run throughout the space and can be used as versatile backdrops or to create zones, offering multiple looks within a single booking. • Natural Light Floor-to-ceiling windows (approx. 2.5m) fill both levels with bright, consistent natural diffused lighting, including the bathroom - creating a clean, open environment. • New Pink Hammock A sculptural, playful seating element that can be incorporated into shoots for warmth and softness. • Ambient Lighting Options Adjustable lighting allows you to shift the studio atmosphere to match your project’s mood. • Sensory-Driven Design Every element, from colour palettes to materials, has been curated to soften the senses and support creative focus. • Custom Backdrops Mars is also available to create bespoke backdrops or set elements tailored to your vision. • Versatile Use Ideal for photoshoots, editorials, film, content creation, interviews, and intimate workshops. • Easy Access Step-free entry makes loading equipment simple.
