UNLESS OTHERWISE ARRANGED BY KINGSWORTH BARN & STABLE: The property will be available for setup at 9:00am day of the event unless otherwise stipulated within a convince package or special arrangement. All setup must be approved by the property management. Couples are permitted to host a one (1) hour rehearsal prior to their event, which must be arranged with the owners to take place within two weeks prior to the event . The BARN is a historic and rustic building from the 1830’s which has original floors which are uneven. The organizer, convenor or planner will be sure to inform guests to be cautious and careful highly recommending appropriate footwear. In the interest of the Barn environment confetti, glitter and Chinese lanterns are not permitted on the premises, however rice will be permitted outdoors only. However, rice and/or paper confetti shall be permitted within the area designated as Forest Cathedral. Sound decibel levels must be adhered to from the direction of the property manager as to not disturb surrounding neighbours. Kingsworth Barn and Stable may cancel on reasonable notice without liability either for cause or where it is unable to perform the services set out in the agreement by reason of flood, fire, forest majeure, Act of God, pandemic and any municipal, provincial, national directives, notice to comply or mandates. Payments made in advance will be credited towards a new date or refunded upon the decision of Kingsworth Barn and Stable. Walk throughs are by appointment only. The Barn has not alternate heating or air conditioning. The LOFT check in is 1:00pm - check out is 5:00pm unless special arrangements can be accommodated. The Convenor agrees to pay for any and all damages done to any part of the premises by the Convener’s guests, suppliers or service providers. Kingsworth Barn & Stables will not be responsible for any theft, damage or loss of property of the Convener, guests, suppliers or service providers. Camera’s are monitoring the property at all times. Drunken or unruly or alike behaviour will not be tolerated. Management has the absolute right to ask any attendee to leave the premise or escort any person from the property who does not comply. Kingsworth Barn and Stable, owners or management Do Not supply alcohol beverages. Kingsworth Barn & Stable requires all couples, convenors or planners to provide a certificate of PAL insurance covering injury, alcoholic use etc. with a minimum of million ($1,000,000.00) liability coverage no later than 15 days prior to the scheduled event. Upon signing, the organizer, convenor, planner releases the management and owners of all liability in the case of any and all injury or mishaps in any way shape or form to any and all guests and participants. Guests are encouraged to arrange alternate transportation or a designated driver if you are drinking. Please do not drink and drive. No smoking tobacco, marijuana and vaping of any sort is permitted on the premises or in any building except within the designated smoking area 10m around the camp fire pit. If someone does smoke in ANY building, the damage deposit will automatically be forfeited. Management has the right to enforce this guideline or ask an attendee(s) to leave the premises if this request is not adhered to. It is the responsibility of the Convenor to inform their MC, host or whomever to make announcements informing the attendees of the no smoking rule and policy. Absolutely No Open Flame is permitted anywhere on the property or in any building area. Sparklers can only be used 10m around the Fire Pit area All music must end by 9:30pm and must not exceed reasonable volume levels and are subject to management protocol unless otherwise outlined within a convenience package or special arrangement by property management. We ask that all guests vacate the property by no later than 10:00pm Brocken or unaccounted glassware, china or flatware will be replaced at a cost of $5 per glass, plate, cup or flatware. This charge will be discounted out of the security deposit. Clean-up includes removing decorations and generally making sure that the venue is left tidy with no debris on floors or grounds. o secure and reserve a date, a non-refundable amount of 50% deposit must be paid at the time of confirmation of date. Remainder of the agreement must be paid 15 days prior to the event date. If the Convenor fails to meet payment as per the payment terms specified within this agreement, Kingsworth Barn and Stable reserves the right to cancel the event and retain any payments made and will not be held liable in any way.
