This space is great for events and content creation! Hidden from the main road, a lengthy driveway will whisk you away to the African Oasis Retreat. This estate has a massive yard with dogwood trees, flower bushes, apple trees, pear trees and even muscadine vines. Take the rock pathway to the front door steps and be greeted by a front porch, complete with swing for two and an Adirondack rocking chair. Have a seat and you may notice a red cardinal or butterflies living their best lives. When you enter the front door, you are met with Moroccan tile steps and breathtaking Nigerian artwork in the foyer. Watch your step to the left, as the living room is sunken, but full of enjoyment! Check out the bookshelf for a plethora of inspiring reads, bring out your competitive side & play a few games at the table, put a record on the record player or lounge on the stylish couches & watch a show or movie on the 65in smart TV. While fireplace isn’t available for use, what a beauty! There is a powder room located on the main floor as well as a full bathroom upstairs for your use. We offer a large, fully stocked kitchen. The dining table seats 6 and the kitchen island seats an additional 4. We provide pots, pans, utensils, standard kitchen appliances & even a few extra seasonings for your use. There are ceramic plates, saucers, mugs & bowls as well as water glasses & wine glasses for indoor use only. We have a set of plastic cups, plates & bowls for casual & outdoor use. There are French doors in both the kitchen and living room that lead to the screened-in porch, complete with a ceiling fan, cozy couches and a trendy egg swing. Through the screened-in porch’s screen door, as well as the second set of French doors in the kitchen, you will find the rest of the outdoor oasis. The deck holds a fabulous hot tub (available from early October- late April), an outdoor bed for two and a gas grill. Down the steps you will find a huge pool. This pool does have an 8ft deep end, so please proceed with caution, as there is no lifeguard on duty! Lounge in one of the pool chairs or jump right in from early May-late September! The three African-themed bedrooms can be made available upon request. Otherwise, they will remain locked. Karibu means “welcome” in Swahili. Welcome to paradise!

This was a great location to film interviews for a docu-series. You can get many different looks from this space. The location was easy to get into and the host was easy to reach.
