Private Lakeside Resort & Music Venue in Canton

The space was built in 1974 as a local party and event space in the Hickory Flat (Canton/Woodstock) area of Georgia. The lodge was built extra large with a stage, bar with private lake on many acres of beautiful Hickory forest. The property was completely renovated in the mid-2000's and is continually being upgraded to this day. Currently its a photographers paradise with an incredibly elegant main level featuring walnut, teak, cork and bamboo floors, extra large rooms, claw foot tub, grand piano, dramatic ceilings and beautiful windows and doors. The lower level is a private club with stage, professional sound, lighting, commercial sized bar, booths, speak easy/dungeon, bar games, large flat screen TV and access to wonderful outdoor areas. The exterior is dramatic with white pillars on the lakeside of the property, beautiful craftsman details on the front. When you are on property you feel you are miles away from civilization but in reality you are 4 min from Kroger, Publix, many pizza places, sit down food, liquor, drug stores etc. 15 min away is Wal-Mart, Costco, Sams, Home Depot etc. Anything you need is close by. Night life in the area is fantastic with breweries close by and also the live work play downtowns of Woodstock, Alpharetta and Canton all being about a 15-20 min drive. Its an amazing location to be super private but close to any service you might need. Uber, Lyft, private taxi, shuttles all run to the property and local area. This 5,600 SF lodge is one of a kind. The tail of two places actually. The main level is elegant and calm. The lower level is pure crazy. The main level features 5 private sleeping rooms and the lower level 3. Everything is accessible and for your use. The lodge hosts weddings, large parties and reunions, photo shoots, musical shows, retreats, corporate functions, etc. If you can dream it, we can make it happen. On site and available are high top bar tables and stools, large round and rec tables and chairs, propane heaters, etc. Seating for 50 people for a ceremony is no problem. The band club area can hold 100 or more. Parking is not a problem. There are many spots up by the lodge and then on the street for larger vehicles and then we also have a private remote lot 4 min away. We can park as many cars as your event has although we do limit group sizes so as to not overload the structure nor cause local area congestion. The lake is full of game fish and fishing is allowed. The lodge provides a canoe and kayak. Swimming is excellent. The property also features hiking trails, fir earm and archery range, large activity field, gazebo, lakeside fire pit, lakeside stage, two fishing docks, etc. The space is available on an hourly basis during the work week in many cases for photo shoots and retreats. Extra charges for numbers of people onsite, functions and special services. We are happy to give you a price for just about anything you might want to do here. Past guests have included American Idol winners and their bands, top national tribute bands, NYC jazz bands and some of the best bands in Atlanta. Commercials for national retailers have been shot here along with music videos, album covers, films etc. With the many different decor areas and interesting spaces numerous photographers have used the space for erotic, fetish, fashion, music, design and other types of image capturing.
