About the Space
The Riverside Getaway is a two-bedroom apartment located above Getaway Motor Cafe in downtown Carver, MN. Built in 1871 as the Stephen Kult clothing store, our building is at the core of Carver’s National Historic District on the Minnesota River. Designed by Studio Grey, our space preserves the integrity and character of the historic building while modernizing and creating something new. Luxury finishes and plenty of natural light create a warm and welcoming Nordic Modern vibe. This space offers ample opportunities for photoshoots, video productions and other media productions. - The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.
- Disinfecting wipes or spray and paper towels

I booked this lovely space for a lifestyle motherhood photo session. The host was very communicative leading up to our visit and we found the space easy to find and access. Once inside I was thrilled to see the space! It exceeded my hopes and expectations- it is beautifully designed with artistic and thoughtful details throughout and so cozy - perfect for a photo session (and would be perfect as a little getaway too!) I would love to come back sometime, 10/10 recommend!

Luke is an extremely responsive and kind business owner, and went above and beyond as a host. Highly recommend this space for your next photo shoot, work retreat, or stay cation in the Twin Cities area!
