Our home affords you the unique opportunity to host an event in a venue on the National Register of Historic Places, that was built for Henry and Mary Hensel (the daughter of the first butcher in Butchertown). You can enjoy the uncounterfeitable historic character with expansive 12' ceilings all original wood accents and features... While simultaneously experiencing the fresh and modern updates and amenities, thoughtfully and expertly designed. Bedrooms are accessed via stairs only. From the Bourbon Trail to Churchill Downs, enjoy all Louisville has to offer while escaping to your private sanctuary. Near downtown and Nulu, the historic Henry Hensel House has been newly (and thoughtfully) designed and renovated to have all the modern amenities you need and want, while keeping the Italianate charm. Cancellation Policy
Standard 90 day
Guests may cancel their Booking until 90 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 90 days and 14 days before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Cancellations submitted less than 14 days before the Event start time are not refundable. Learn more
