About the Space
We are a youth-led Nonprofit providing trauma healing services to the youth of Detroit. While we are not providing services in our newly renovated, vibrant corner residential community center, our space is open to the community to rent. You will have full access to a 2000 square foot space located in the heart of Detroit close to local freeways. Home Rental for any event. An open floor plan ideal for community meetings, corporate retreats, launch parties, bridal and baby showers, family gatherings, content creation, intimate dinners, parties, and more. We have a very large backyard with a beautiful deck space with furniture, 8 burner grill, firepit, and basketball rim. The basement has it's own separate entrance and is equipped with a bathroom, 54 inch TV, washer & dryer, microwave, intimate lighting and fireplaces, water dispenser and freezer. Your rental also comes with two speaker, two mic, uplighting, Six Rectangular 6 Foot Tables and 30 chairs. The space has 3 bathrooms, 6 beds and 2 flat screen TVS with a fridge and stove.
Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages allowed
Cooking and food preparations is allowed on-site as long as dishwasher is being used.

Enhanced Health and Safety Measures
- The space is cleaned and disinfected in accordance with guidelines from local health authorities
- Soft, porous materials have been properly cleaned or removed
- High touch surfaces and shared amenities have been disinfected
- Bookings are spaced apart to allow for enhanced cleaning
- A licensed professional cleaner is hired between bookings
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and clean the space.
- Supply a hand washing station with soap, warm water, and paper towels or hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Clean common areas allowing guest access including bathrooms, kitchens, and entrances.
- Collect and clean dishes, silverware, and other provided host amenities, if applicable.
- Remove garbage and add new lining to cans.

Sylice greeted us and was very accommodating. Upon entering entering, the front room smelled like weed. Sylice opened the windows and sprayed the area. He then showed me around the house. He left his number in case of emergency and was on his way. We started setting up the backyard but ended up indoors due to the rain. The house was a;le to fit all of my guests. My mom noticed water coming through the ceiling in the bathroom on the main floor¹as it was raining. Once the party started and dinner was served, we didn't have enough trash bags for the trash. We also needed a broom to clean up afterwards, but there wasn't one available. My guests really liked the house and the story behind it. I asked them to bring in some items to donate to the house and they were happy to help. They loved all of the bright colors and different rooms throughout the house. The PURPLE basement was a BIG hit, especially the floor. Thanks for providing the space for my party.
