This is the only bedroom located on the second floor. Other bedrooms include a suite with beautiful water views, a king-sized bed, and a pullout couch. Two additional bedrooms are located directly off the foyer, one with a queen-sized bed and a pull-out couch, and the other with a full-size Murphy bed that can be converted into a nursery with a pack 'n play upon request. The remaining two bedrooms are located on the far west wing of the house. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare family meals, including a Sub Zero fridge with drawers, double oven, and seating for 4 around the island. The cozy library has a beautiful high-end leather couch and chair, and the custom-built bookcase has lots of games, books, and cool antique cameras and artifacts from the original hotel that once stood on the same foundation. The family room is the perfect spot to watch Netflix on the massive 70" 4K smart TV, with a large sectional and 2 comfy swivel chairs. The living room is the heart of the house, with seven huge brand new windows offering panoramic views of the ocean, the bay, and forest, and ample seating for everyone to gather and spend time together. The board room is a floating room above the living room, accessible via motorized stairs that go up and down at the press of a button, with 6 leather captains chairs around a large mahogany table that doubles as a card table for poker matches or simply enjoying a good puzzle. The roof deck is another brand new feature accessible from the board room, where guests can walk out on one of the highest perches on the coast of Maine to take in breathtaking 180 degree views of sunrises and sunsets over the Atlantic Ocean. Take a short 5-minute walk down a private pathway in the back of the property to the majestic private beach. The water is too rough for swimming, but the beach is covered with millions of bluestone pebbles that are smooth and weathered from the constant crashing waves. We recommend visiting this spot at the end of a fun day, packing up the picnic basket in the pantry with some cheese and crackers, and enjoying a crisp bottle of wine with friends and family on this secluded spot all to yourselves. There is also a popular public beach just down the road. This special spot has soft smooth sand and warmer shallow waters perfect for swimming and finding seashells.
