Beautiful space! The pictures do not do this space justice. Staff was extremely helpful. I highly recommend this soace to anyone looking for a spacious, clean, well decorated venue.

I would like to speak to whomever manages reservations for this space regarding a proper refund that will be conclusive to the services I received. I toured this space nearly a month ahead of my planned event and asked every question that would be of concern — parking, using the space, and limitations to my reservation, etc. I was happy with the answers provided and proceeded to book only to come into multiple issues the day of the reservation. As many people know, when organizing any event, there a many details that need to be executed to ensure a successful event, stress-free environment, and that your guests are in good hands while attending the event. This reservation/time using this venue was nothing but stress and frustration. First, upon entering to start setting up for my event there was an issue with parking. I was told by the person/rep (during my initial tour.. a month in advance) that parking would not be an issue for my event. I was booked for 12:00-5:00pm and I was told that towing didn’t start until after 5:00pm for non-residents/people who didn’t have parking decals. But when I arrived, I was told by the supervisor in the office that I would only be able to receive 5 parking passes and other cars needed to use street parking. This was a major inconvenience considering I had A LOT more than 5 cars coming to my event AND I had not prepared for this to be the case. Many of my guests were driving from out of town and already had a lot of concern about parking so close to the city (knowing how crazy towing can be in Charlotte). I had already assured all of my guests that their cars would be fine without such measures. I proceeded to tell the supervisor this was not what I had been told during my tour and that this was an issue. He initially proceeded to tell me there wasn’t much he could do besides look for a few more parking passes (but was doubtful he had more), and then he later on during my reservation called their towing company to ask what time they would be scoping the parking area and he was told they weren’t coming until after my reservation. I appreciated the gesture and help, but again this was just the start of constant complaints I have (included complaints from my guests). Next was the fact that the staff hadn’t prepared for my reservation — no signs had been put up for residents of the building to know the area was off limits and no email had been sent. These things were rushingly done a hour into my reservation. I was later told (by the supervisor) that there was an issue with their system and originally my reservation was on their calendar for a week prior and so they were not prepared for my reservation due to this technical issue. As I expressed to the supervisor, I certainly understand things happen, but that is not my concern. These things should have been taken care of prior to my reservation. This leads me to my next issue - residents were CONSTANTLY coming in, walking through my party with no sense of respect for my reserved time. During the entire party, random people would walk through the area with several people, dogs, coming to fix a coffee, etc. it was very disrespectful and inconvenient. Even more disruptive was the guided tours the supervisor proceeded to give through my reservation/party. There were upwards of 3 to 4 tours given during my reservation. Again, this was not respecting of the time I paid for. I booked for a PRIVATE reservation and should have been provided the service I paid for. While the “tours” of the area were brief, it does not matter. As I mentioned previously, I booked this place close to a month in advance. Why didn’t the office/staff ensure no tours would given during my 5 hour reservation? OR why couldn’t the tour simply exclude the space I reserved for the time being? OR why couldn’t tours be given PRIOR to my reservation (again my reservation didn’t start until 12pm). It was inconsiderate and rude. The only pros to me using this space was that: 1. It was beautiful. The pictures are accurate and it was a nice space to host and 2. It was clean. My guests really appreciated the quality of the area. I will say the supervisor was very apologetic and shared with me that using their space for reservations was a new venture of the property and they had some learning/growing to do. Fantastic space for all kinds of events! We hosted a baby shower for 40 people, and it was perfect! The space was very clean and modern, with great decor!

I want to first start by saying the management of this place are so friendly and cooperative!! The lounge was spacious and extremely comfortable! My daughter's 21st birthday surprise dinner was a success and everyone gave so many compliments on the location and lounge. The picture doesn't give the in-person vibe justice. Between the multiple sections and the amenities, I had everything needed to make my vision for this event come true.
