We have several parking options with the most convenient being the parking garage right beneath our building, just keep in mind that it fills up quickly on weekdays. Look for the "Merchants Exchange Building Garage" sign as you pull up to our address. Turn into that alleyway and turn left down into the garage. $10 cash only weekdays/weekends. General Rules MEMBER WILL GREET AND GIVE STUDIO TOUR (unless otherwise discussed) PRICING BY GROUP SIZE Please let us know how many people will be attending so we can best accommodate and prepare. We have different pricing for small vs. large groups. Small groups of 1-6 guests cost $100/hr. Larger groups of 7-12 guests cost $125/hr. 12-19 guests are $150/hr. 20-25 is $175/hr. More guests = more wear and tear/cleaning. Number of attendees includes crew, parents/guardian, children, assistants, etc. Please respect this rule and let us know in advance if you plan to add guests. BOOKING TIMES Please note that all start and end times include setup and tear down time. Any late check-outs will be charged a full additional hour! Early arrivals (often production, hair or makeup artists) will max be let in 5 minutes early. We schedule our employees and cleaning times to accommodate only the hours your booking is scheduled for. NO SHOES ON FURNITURE: Preserving the furniture in paramount to our business. Absolutely no shoes on the couches. Please treat this rule with respect. STUDIO CONDITION You must return the studio to the condition it was in when you arrived. We encourage you to get creative with it, just be mindful when moving props please! There is a re-setting fee of $50-$100 if the condition you have left the studio in does not meet our standards. All equipment/props/backdrops must be returned to their original place within the booking time. You will be charged for any damages, missing items, and extra cleaning services. For any substances that require extra cleaning we charge an added cleaning fee of $100. REFUNDS: Guests may cancel their Booking until 7 days before the event start time and will receive a full refund (including all Fees) of their Booking Price. Guests may cancel their Booking between 7 days and 24 hours before the event start time and receive a 50% refund (excluding Fees) of their Booking Price. Booking cancellations submitted less than 24 hours before the Event start time are not refundable. There are no refunds for unused time. If you wrap early, there are no refunds as we have blocked that time off, planned employee hours, schedule cleaning and cannot get those hours back which could have gone to another potential guest. Booked hours are booked hours. NO PETS ALLOWED We love animals, this is not the space for them however. NO SMOKING/VAPING No smoking or vaping of any kind on the premises. This includes Cigarette/Cannabis/Tobacco/E-cigarette/Vaping. There is a $500 fine. This is California state law. We are strict about this as we also have 16 sprinklers in our ceiling and if set off, this would ruin our business. NO ALCOHOL No drinking in the space. This would be a huge liability. If caught drinking, you will be asked to leave. NO ILLEGAL ACTIVITY/DRUGS Fines apply and we reserve the right to remove you from the premises. NOISE We have a zero-tolerance policy with noise complaints. We ask that you please respect our neighbors and keep noise to a sensible volume. NO PORN No porn films. Nudity is allowed. No sexual activities! NO PARTIES NO UNSUPERVISED CHILDREN We only allow children ages 8+ in the space as there are sharp tiles edges/stairs, higher platforms they could fall off of, curtain rods that could be pulled down and a sand pit where younger children may be tempted to throw sand everywhere. If you have children 8+ and are interested in the space, feel free to inquire as we can send a video tour of the space or you could schedule an in-person tour. NO FAKE BLOOD/BODY PAINT This is very challenging to clean up/stains and our business/aesthetic depends on keeping our tile clean and white. Failure to comply will result in $100 cleaning fee. NO ROLLER SKATING NO GLITTER/CONFETTI This is also challenging to clean up. Please no loose glitter or full glittered outfits that shed and drop glitter all over. Failure to comply will result in $100 cleaning fee. NO FILMING OUTSIDE OF STUDIO This includes the hallways or exterior of the building. This booking only covers our specific unit in our building and nothing else on the premise. SECURITY CAMERAS There are security cameras in the non-private areas of the space. By agreeing to this booking you also acknowledge our surveillance camera will be recording (including sound) during your whole booking time. This footage will never be used unless an issue occurs during booking. This is for everyone's protection. DAMAGES You will be accountable for any damages to the space, and charged according to the value of those items. INJURIES We're not liable for injuries.
